Our Pirates programme is designed for children five years and above, and offers six different class levels – all running for 25 minutes.  Each class has a clear objective, as well as a water safety element and the child has four goals to achieve before they progress to the next class, along with a water safety skill being taught.  Children then graduate to the Russell Geange Swim Academy after passing the Jack Sparrow level.  All classes are taken by one of our qualified instructors, who collectively hold the following qualifications:

Swimming NZ New Zealand Certificate in Swim Teaching, Swimming NZ School Children & Adults, Swimming NZ Teaching Swimmers with a Disability, Swimming NZ ASTA, Swimming NZ ASCA, British Amateur Swimming Ass Full Swimming Teacher, Massey University Teacher Aide Certificate - papers in The Developing Child, How Children Learn, Language Development, and Behaviour Management, Red Cross First Aid Certificate.
